About NetBSD/rs6000

NetBSD/rs6000 is a port of NetBSD to the IBM RS/6000 class of MCA-based PowerPC machines. It's the first free Operating System to run on this class of machines.

2007-12-17:   Initial import of NetBSD/rs6000

NetBSD/rs6000, a new powerpc port for the early MCA-based IBM RS/6000 workstations, has been imported. More details (including kernel dmesg) are available in Tim Rightnour's annoucement.
